Individuals with SCI have an increased risk for complications of COVID-19. To help mitigate this, there are certain precautions wheelchair users can take. Peter Axelson from Beneficial Designs wrote a great guide for wheelchair and assistive technology users. Here, he explains how the surfaces of wheelchairs and assistive technology can increase the chances of coming in contact with the virus. He then explains how to address these concerns.
